BSC joins hands to help flooded victims in Binh Dinh

Heavy rains and floods have caused many isolated provinces in Binh Dinh. Many areas in Binh Dinh have had heavy rain. In Quy Nhon City, the historic rainfall caused hundreds of households in Dong Da ward to be seriously flooded. Floods were too fast and the households had without any preparation time, many items are damaged; many roads in Quy Nhon city are heavily flooded.

Four consecutive floods have caused thousands of houses in Binh Dinh which have deeply flooded, many residential areas have isolated for several days. Heavy rain and floods made nearly 400 houses collapsed, 17 dead people, 5 injured people, causing damage over 800 billion..

Increasing numbers of casualties have prompted the BSC Youth Union to help quickly people in Binh Dinh. In spite of the end of the year (30, 31/12/2016), BSC Youth Union in Ho Chi Minh City still organized charitable program to poor households who have affected by natural disaster at Phu My, Binh Dinh province.

Despite the bad weather, continuous rain and flooded and bumpy roads, the BSC Youth Union still urgently sent 150 gifts to support Binh Dinh people from rice, instant noodles to cooking oil, fish sauce.

When BSC team transfered these gifts to the people of Binh Dinh, each member  feel happy and proud of themselves because we have done a meaningful work for our citizens.
